Students will learn important topics for configuring block storage and aggregate storage database kernel settings, maintain and manage security models, optimize database processing through system caches and other methods, and learn data integrity, backup, and recovery techniques. The curriculum focuses on essential subjects administrators need to know to begin effective administration of their complete Essbase environment. Topics in MaxL help automate administration tasks. Information is presented through lecture, discussion, and practical examples and exercises.
