Short Overview:
This course builds on the knowledge learned in the courses Building Essbase Outlines, Essbase Dynamic Dimension Building, and Essbase Data Loading courses. Learn how to calculate the data loaded into an Essbase database using outline calculation and custom calculation scripts within the Essbase Administration Services (EAS) Console. This course is very hands-on, with practical examples and exercises that help the student build a complete application and database.

Audience: Analysts and designers of Essbase applications, database administrators, power users and support personnel. Prerequisite: Essbase Data Loading course or the knowledge of how to load data into an Essbase database. Knowledge of dimension member properties.

Requirement: Access to the EAS console with access to the Sample/Basic database.
