Deploy Enterprise Analytics databases in this 1-day no-nonsense course that gets any administrator up to speed-fast. Features of aggregate storage databases, how they compare to Block Storage (BSO) databases, and the MDX language for creating member formulae are all covered. Several exercises and examples will lead you through the general workflow of creating and working with aggregate storage databases, as well as some advantages and disadvantages. This course will also discuss the process for converting your BSO database into an aggregate storage format, and some pitfalls to avoid. Finally, the class discusses write-back considerations and design using database partitioning.
